Mary Grant AvinaCOLDWELL BANKER PROP.UNL.-Brenham
Texas became home for Mary Grant Avina in 1998, when she and her husband Albert, an accounting manager for KBR, relocated to Houston from their hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. In the years since, Mary, who has worked in international banking, education, and most recently, as a property manager and real estate agent for Heritage Texas Properties, has come to love the people, places and wide-open spaces of the Lone Star State.
She and Albert have raised their two daughters, Elizabeth, a recent University of Texas engineering grad, and Rachel, a first-year student at HCC, to appreciate the independent Texan spirit.
Earlier this year the family fulfilled a life-long dream of purchasing the Historic Lockhart Plantation—in the beautiful bluebonnet town of Chappell Hill. A fluent Spanish speaker and admirer of Spanish history and art, Mary was intrigued by the Lockhart Plantation’s Texas and Mexican heritage. Mary and Albert plan to continue to gradually restore the home, as did its previous owners.
Mary is thrilled to introduce others to this pocket of the Rolling Hill Country that she now calls home. Her generous listening abilities, attention to detail and artful eye will be an asset to her clients as they seek to fulfill their real estate dreams, just as Mary herself has done.
