Dave Wyatt was reared in a small Central Texas town and received degrees from North Texas University and Harvard Business School. His professional career enabled Dave and his family to live in many parts of the United States as well as in several foreign countries.
In 1976 he relocated his family to Houston when he accepted a position as Executive Vice President of a large regional logistics firm. He served in that capacity for three years and became the company president of this $75,000,000 company. In 1989 he became regional vice president of a nationwide logistics firm where he was responsible for a 3000-person workforce in 15 states in the south and southwest. In 1998 Dave became the general manager of a newly formed joint venture company in Buenos Aires Argentina. Utilizing all local management talent and workforce this company became very profitable in less than one year from its formation. In 2001 Dave and his wife of 44 years moved from Buenos Aires to Chappell Hill, TX to retire from industry.
Finding retirement was not as glamour’s as expected Dave began to sell Farm and Ranch Real Estate based in the Chappell Hill area. In 2006 Champions School of Real Estate commissioned Dave to research, write and teach a Farm and Ranch Course. Dave holds a Real Estate Brokers license as well as a Texas Real Estate Instructors Certificate.
Dave’s accomplishments include; sales person of the year for five years running, past board member of South Central Board of Real Estate, past member of the real estate grievance committee , past president of United Methodist Men’s group, past member of Texas Transportation Advisory Committee, chairman of the administrative board First UMC and breaking 90 in his golf game.
