2025 marks Ruth Ann’s 23rd year in real estate—a career defined by consistent top production, deep Texas roots, and a passion for helping clients find their perfect property. A seventh-generation Texan and fourth-generation Houstonian, Ruth Ann launched her real estate career with John Daugherty, Realtors and Greenwood King Properties in Houston. After over a decade in Houston’s fast-paced market, she and her husband Stephen—a title insurance underwriting attorney—moved to Round Top to raise their daughters and embrace small-town life.
Today, Ruth Ann brings a powerful combination of local knowledge, strategic negotiation skills, and wide-ranging market experience to Round Top Real Estate. She specializes in Farm & Ranch transactions, with expertise in mineral rights, oil and gas leases, and ag/wildlife exemptions, and serves buyers and sellers across residential, recreational, investment, and commercial properties.
A graduate of Duchesne Academy in Houston and The University of the South (Sewanee), Ruth Ann is active in her community, church, and daughters’ school. She serves on the Duchesne Alumnae Board and is a member of the Round Top Chamber of Commerce, DYD Club, Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, and Texas Women’s League.

Outside of work, Ruth Ann enjoys gardening, antiquing, and entertaining. She and her family are currently on a mission to visit all 50 states—one road trip at a time.
