Claire grew up in the Round Top – Carmine area of Fayette County. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015 with a BBA in Accounting and a MS in Finance. After graduation, she worked in public accounting in Houston and earned her CPA license. In 2018, she decided to move back to the country. Shortly thereafter, she met her husband, Justin Zapalac of Bellville. In 2021, she began working at Round Top Real Estate as an assistant to her mentor and mother, Lisa Mayer. In 2022, Claire became a licensed real estate agent.
