Dawn’s love for Real Estate began over 30 years ago as an Escrow Officer in the Title Insurance business. She acquired her Real Estate license also to give her a better understanding of all sides of a Real Estate transaction, from the beginning to the end!
Her career path from Escrow Officer/ Branch Manager to Vice President eventually led to her Ownership of several Title Companies in the greater Houston area and surrounding counties.
After receiving her Broker’s license in 2010, she open her Real Estate firm, Dawn Terry Properties.
Her INTEREST in our local Real Estate market began in the 90’s when the Terry family purchased land on Hwy 71 and developed Crier Creek Family Ranch and made it their home.
Her daughters attended La Grange schools for a period of time and the family actively participated in their Church and Community. They volunteered and hosted many gatherings at Crier Creek Ranch which benefited Fayette and other surrounding counties. From Youth hunts and Rodeos to fishing tournaments and trail rides, the Terry’s made many lasting relationships in La Grange and it remained their home away from home even after relocated back to Houston.
Dawn also has a passion for Music. She directed Children’s Choirs in the Houston area for over 25 years and is now the acting Co-Director of the La Grange Community Children’s Choir along with her daughter, who is the Director, Krystin Hill!
She is a Native Texan and was honored with the award, “Yellow Rose of Texas”, by the governor of our great state.
She will also tell you that the greatest blessing of all was the raising of her three daughters.... and now, Gigi, to her precious grandchildren.
