Hi. I’m Angie Evans, what should you know about me personally?
I believe there's no place like Texas, and owning property here is a great privilege. I am originally from Virginia and my family and I have had the pleasure of living in several states in this great country, thanks to the military. My family and I visited Texas for a week over a decade ago and found ourselves right at home. I have called southeast Texas home ever since. As the owner and broker of Small Town Realty, I have the flexibility and opportunity for creativity and innovation that will allow me to focus on clients as friends and to help them find their version of home.
What do I have to offer?
I love the real estate business and have been a full-time agent and broker since 2007, shortly after moving to Texas. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Tarleton State University and I served in the Naval Reserves. I have worked in many different industries due to frequently relocating as a military spouse. This has afforded me the opportunities to work with individuals of varying backgrounds, education, and financial positions. The knowledge I gained from those opportunities means I often approach situations from multiple directions to seek the best outcome for my clients regardless of whether you are purchasing or selling real estate. I have a deep desire to help others and have taken the time to acquire specialized training as a Military Relocation Professional, Texas Affordable Housing Specialist, and a Texas Veterans Land Board Professional. I think of my clients as friends and strive to help them find home, whatever home means to you.
My company and the name.
How did I come up with the name? I chose Small Town Realty as the name of my company because I wanted the company name to convey to people that treating customers and clients like family is both a guiding principle and a way of life for myself and my company. When I asked customers what they thought of when they heard the words “small town”, some of the responses were “being surrounded by people who know you”, “people who look out for each other”, “people who help each other”, “hospitality”, and “family”. These ideas are the principles and characteristics I hope you will associate with the company. I am dedicated to listening and matching individuals and families with the properties that best suit their needs. My goal is to help you find home.
